      Hi dmitri_can,

I'll be reaching Narita at 2.20pm. I scheduled Harajuku/Yoyogi Park on Sunday because I would like to catch the Cosmoplay which is usually on Sunday afternoon?
So for all my destinations on Sun & Mon, are they all are accessible by metro? No need to use JR right?

      dimitri_can:
yes. 22nd might be a bit too packed. try moving shinjuku to 21st or drop yoyogi park off 22nd. also, depart early on 22nd to cover 4 places.

      Following are my suggestions

      22 Nov (Sun)
      Tsukuji Market
Ueno Park (Ueno Zoo and 1 of the museum)
      Asakusa
      Akihabara
      https://goo.gl/YJWkk7

      23 Nov (Mon)
      Shinjuku
      Harajuku/Yoyogi park
      Odaiba for dinner
      Tokyo tower

What time is your flight into Narita btw?

      Hi dimitri_can,

I've tweaked my itinerary a bit so that I can make use of the 2-day metro pass(Sun & Mon) and also avoid the Monday attraction closures. I intend to go Ueno Zoo and 1 of the museums if time permits.
Here's my new itinerary but I'm not sure if its too packed and doable on Sunday now.

      21 Nov (sat)
      Touchdown at Narita
      check-in apartment near Shibuya
dinner at Shibuya, shopping and sightseeing(Shibuya Crossing, Hachiko)

22 Nov (Sun) Northern & Western Tokyo
Ueno Park (Ueno Zoo and 1 of the museum)
      Asakusa
      Harajuku
      Yoyogi park
      Shinjuku for dinner & shopping

23 Nov (Mon) Central & Southern Tokyo
      Tsikuji Market
      Akihabara
      Odaiba
      Tokyo tower

      24 Nov (Tue)
      Mount Fuji Tour

Most probably I'll be using Nex from Narita to Shibuya... I was considering to get the 2-way Nex tickets but since I'm also getting the 7-day JR pass for my last 7 days in Japan, means when returning from Osaka/Kyoto to Narita, I can actually make use of the JR pass right? So not necessary to get the Return Nex ticket?
Wish I could swap 23rd and 24th to make use of the 2-day subway pass but the reason I schedule that way because 23rd is a Monday and I understand some of the attractions in Ueno Park is closed on Monday. 😞
Btw, we'll be bringing 2 luggages and a stroller. Is Japan baby-friendly and will it be easy to travel around with those items?
Can I also check for Mount Fuji tour, better to book online before going or while over there? Any tour recommendations? Thanks!

If you activate the pass on 24th Nov, then it would be ok. No need to buy the return NEX ticket.

What attractions are you referring to? I can check for you if it's closed on Monday.

Depending on the place, Japan can be baby-friendly or it cannot be. Try to avoid the rush hours (7am-9.30am, 5pm-8pm) then i think you should be ok.....

You can refer to the following to have a feel

      Yamanote Line

      Maihama (Disneyland)

      Osaka station

For Mount Fuji tours, you can refer to below. A word of advice, Mount Fuji better to go in Jul/Aug. 😃

      Below are my comments.

For train pass, i am not sure if you want to try using Tokyo Subway Pass:
      http://www.tokyometro.jp/en/ticket/valu ... html#anc03

      Getting from Narita to Shibuya
      1. Direct route: Narita Express (a bit expensive) -

      More information over here: http://www.jreast.co.jp/e/nex/

      Timetable over here:
      http://www.eki-net.com/pc/jreast-shinka ... index.html

      or

      2. Via Keisei Skyliner to Ueno then via Yamanote Line to Shibuya (can save a bit)
      More information: http://www.keisei.co.jp/keisei/tetudou/ ... index.html

      Timetable over here:
      http://www.keisei.co.jp/keisei/tetudou/ ... index.html

Pros: Allow you to buy the Tokyo Subway Pass together with Skyliner to save more money.

Below is a chart for clearer picture. If you take round trip, then NEX will be cheaper. It's basically convenience vs saving money.

      http://i59.tinypic.com/2ylvbmg.png\">

If you can swap 23 Nov and 24th Nov, then your 2-day Tokyo Subway Pass (activate on 2nd and 3rd day) will be very useful. If you are using JR Pass, buy the 7-day pass and activate from 24th Nov-30th Nov (3rd to 9th day).

Usually when i recommend people, i will recommend them to go out of Tokyo first, then come back to Tokyo before the last day, rather than on the last day, this is to reduce the chance of an emergency (e.g train stop, etc), but it's quite rare that such things happen.

      Enjoy your trip. 😃
