I cannot fight the way a particular group fights. chiong so much tuition to get into the program, then continue chiong tuition to be up there, chiong music, chiong dsa related stuff. I see, I faint. I really wonder do their kids have playtime.

yes, they do have. mine going to P5 next year, managing without tuition in P4. But I think it’s time to give that extra help. Although the GEP kids are taking the same PSLE exams in P6, they have to sit for GEP exam papers in P4 to P6. SWEAT, not easy ah.

Sengkang is pretty easy to commute to DHS. Many kids in NE area take mrt there.


For me, I put mine on the school bus next year to ease my morning logistics issue (at least for mon to thur) as I have 2 little ones in different schools to send to. Also let him settle into y1, while waiting for the mrt station to be ready. Delayed till 3Q 2020 I was told. He was reluctant to take, but I told him is a win-win situation for all. He can sit , sleep / stone all the way to school. Hahaha

These bus companies have other "businesses" too, in order to survive. After sending pri/sec school children to schools, they will send office workers, pre-schoolers. So, they cannot change their fridays pick up time just cos DHS starts late. Is a standard practice too that they collect bus fares for the school holiday months. Else no income for them. That’s what I learnt when I put my kids on school bus during their pre-school years.
