My DS got 255 last year.
He decided to try for ACS IP but missed out by one point ( decided against going to many IP schools in the process ).
Got into ACS Express. Class is made up of students with a spread of 50 points.
He’s never been happier:
1. Scoring high 70s in his exams in year 1.
2. Playing first team for a competitive CCA.
3. Keeping his fingers crossed for IP transfer in year 2.
4. Not as stressed as before.
5. Really having a great time.
Point is, let the kid enjoy his time. We can plan and plan but they will find their way.
As for me, if he messed up the transfer to IP next year there will still be ACJC.
I’m calm. Never been calmer.

Yes, you are right.
Bishan requires a longer walk from MRT Station.
However, Bishan is on Circle Line - from One North or Buona Vista.
Newton is on NS Line, so must change line… -

Happy New Year!
My ds goes for Japanese lessons next week at MOELC Newton.
Is Newton nearer/ more convenient compared to Bishan from school?
Going by MRT, Bishan is more direct on the Circle Line. However, the walk seems farther.
Can I have some advise? Thank you very much!
