      psfong:
just want to check with the P1 parents here.

My girl has forgotten to copy down the notes to her handbook (and missed a homework) again. It's not the first time and the teacher has threatened to bring up her case to the discipline department. That will mean that a school offense module maybe issued.

I know that my girl attention may wan and is sometimes forgetful. Still, does this warrant such a punishment?

      any advice anyone?
Hi, i am a p3 parent. I realised that now a day, Chongfu school is getting more n more strict to their students in term of discipline. My dd also very forgetful and sometime forgot to submit hmwork. I have to keep reminding her everyday to write notes into her handbook even until now. Sometime teacher also called to complain. So you have to remind your girl die die must remember to drop down notes into her handbook to remember herself of hmwork.
As for the SOM, i sugguest you to talk to her teacher personally first.

Posted this on science thread but no answer. does anyone know the answer? desperate.....no one answered yet.

      Question:
Cutting down of trees will cause the phenomenon 'global warming'. Which of the following are involved in global warming?
A: burning of trees causes the carbon in the tree to combine with oxygen in the air to form carbon dioxide.
B: Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere acts as a blanket to trap heat in the Earth.
๐Ÿ˜„ Without trees, Sun heats up te Earth's surface directly.
๐Ÿ˜ง Soil erosion will destroy aquatic life forms, which in turn will enhance global warming subsequently.

      (1) A and B only
      (2) A, B and C only
      (3) A, B and D only
      (4) A, B, C and D

Answer is (4). My son doesn't think C and D are involved in global warming. Is he correct or is he wrong. His answer is (1).
My ds also think the answer is (1)

Some of his friends also put ๅ–ไปฃ, so not sure which should be the correct ans.

ๅ–ไปฃ sounds all right too. However, there is ่ท็ฆป in the sentence, thus I think cannot. ็ผฉ็Ÿญ่ท็ฆป(sounds correct) ๅ–ไปฃ่ท็ฆป(sounds wrong).

Anyway, tell your child not to worry so much on the exams that were over and focus on his/her science revision! Gd luck! ๐Ÿ™‚ Jia you!! :rahrah: :rahrah:

Thanks stickyz, yes focus on the next 2 papers. Good Luck to all! Btw, are u a member of Onsponge forum?
