Hi. Time flies. Last check in was during DD psle and now she is taking her O lvl this year. DD drop from pure science to combine science this year. Everyday she is very frustrated when doing her Physics and Chemical hw. She keep saying she don’t understand and I’m really sad that I can’t help her. Anyone kind enough to give some advice on how to study for this 2 subjrcts or any tutor to recommend? Thanks.

RE: Secondary school in west
My DD got 227, we are very disappointed because we estimated 237. So we have to get over it and move on. Anyone went to the various Jurong school open house today? Any feedback about those school? We went to Jurong Sec then to HuaYi. Jurong Sec students were quite mature, polite and helpful. However the location and surrounding was not satisfying because its around the old estate of Jurong with old HDB flats besides the school waiting to be demolished. HuaYi didn’t give me a good and positive impression. Actually we were hoping that FuHua willl have an open house but they didn’t.

RE: All About Ballet
My DD really loves ballet and thats why she’s up to this level even after several occasion that I ask her to quit. She wish to continue ballet upto a profession level inorder for her to be able to be a teacher (full or part time). I attended the dance school open house yesterday and decided to let her finish her grade 6 next year.

RE: All About Ballet
I need advise desperately. My DD is now in Grade 5 ballet (CSTD). I realised that the ballet school & teacher is not helping the students to get exposure and increasing the standard of Dance. Students are just like going for class every week and the teacher never stress on the discipline of ballet. e.g hair not bun up… I’m thinking of switching her to RAD class in another school (difficult to find school with CSTD syallbus)but she will need to be down one grade. DD will be in Grade 6 next year which is the last grade for CSTD so worried that it may be a waste to switch to RAD. Anyone can give advise on that? Any good ballet school to recommend if she wish to switch? Thanks very much.

My DD also says that the English paper is easy. However, she just told me that the maths is difficult. :gloomy:
