      The Alternative Story:

      Hi sesksc,

Your child does not need to go for a trial. We accept most students. If the child is unable to cope with the work, we will let the parent know and see what alternatives can be worked out.

For some children, the teacher would get the child to come earlier or stay back later, for some, the teacher would recommend that the child attend an extra class of the same level so that the child can catch up. If the child goes for this extra class, the payment for the extra class is half of what you would normally pay and it is paid on a monthly basis. We provide this service because we do not want to leave any child behind.

There are rare occasions where we would recommend that the child have 1-1 tuition. In such cases, usually the child has difficulty focusing in a group setting or the child has problems with the basics and would probably benefit from 1-1 more.

As such, you do not have to come for a trial before signing up. If you would like to, you could attend any class of that level you are interested in at any centre for a trial.

Thanks TAS for really helping our kids. Want to mention that 2 of your teachers: Teacher Martin and Teacher Fung Qi would get my kids to stay back when they first joined to help them.

Teacher Martin even stayed back for 1 hour to help, because the worksheets were quite difficult and my youngest could not understand. Teacher Fung Qi would go through the compo part again personally with my older one. We find your teachers dedication commendable.

Yes they started, for P2, they did on choosing a present for a friend. The children are supposed to choose a present from a range of presents presented and talk about it and why they would want to give that to their friend

      Thanks a lot ccgoh.

Are your kids with these teachers? in which grade? I'm looking for a tuition center for my P3 boy to enhance his English. Is TAS really helpful to improve school marks? How do you think it compares to TTL?
My kid is not under them, my kids are under teacher elaine and teacher martin now. I know about these two teachers from friends. TAS helped to bring up my kids marks. Esp for their compo and compre.

TLL is good from what friends say but they do not go through things that will come up for exam. They expect the kids to know it already and so they do more enrichment stuff. If your kids are coping well with exams and you want them to be enriched, I think TLL is right for you but if you want help in coping with exams, then I think TAS is better for that purpose.
