At the end of the year, will they do streaming (whether p1 or p2 or only at p3)? or everyone goes to the same class? e.g. if in 1A goes to 2A type?

why don't you want to enrol your gal in PPS? If PPS is good, should continue? or purely distance consideration?

They will aggregate them on P3 based on P2 overall result. P1 and P2 same class(p1-1 to p2-1), P3 will aggregate to \"new class\" according to your child's result. Then till P5 will have another changer.

Main reason is my gal prefer girls school, she said boy is noisy and naughty. and distance is our concern too especially when they have to stay back 3-4 times a week like my son now (sometimes whole week).

Yes, no reg her in phase 1. Based on past record, no balloting for PPS. Not to worry.

My child is going P1 next year. Going to register her next week during 2C.
May be registering her for punggol pri.

Do you know if there are 'streaming' in punggol sch? I heard that some schools do mini streaming for Chinese and Maths; the children will be group in order of merit. e.g. if they do very well in Chinese they will go the the better class for Chinese; normal will go normal range and weaker students will be streamed to another class.
Personally I don't really like this arrangement. Can anyone advise if Punggol Pri does this? thanks!

Is there a max number of CCA that a child can participate? We are staying very near to sch.. perhaps can take up more than 1 cca.

I heard during open house on 12 Jul that the sch timing for next year is not decided yet. Any idea what would it be like? thanks!

My child is P4 in PPS. I don't think they have mini stream for P1 new pupils. Because they had allocated the class during orientation day. All the pupils brought by form teacher to their respective class room and given simple worksheet to do(While parents listen to orientation talks in hall). However, they did aggregated them into 3 different modules for MT Chinese around term 2 or 3 not really remember.

For CCA, I m not sure how many you allow to take up but probably 2 CCAs is good enough to make your kids full of schedule. My son taking Hockey and Boy's Brigade only but he has to stay back in school average 3-4 days a week (not include BB training on Sat). Beside CCA, he has English debate, math Olympid, E2K science, ad-hoc ICT or life skill training and English Math supplement lesson etc... Some training is compulsory for all and some is selected by teacher.

My girl is K2 and going P1 next year. I m thinking to reg her in ChIj Nativity because it is nearest from my place if compare to PPS. Slightly struggle now because see my son did quite well in PPS. Any parents have same experience to share with me? Eg. Son in PPS, daughter in Chij Nativity.
