hi, i am new here. can anyone advise on this:

my son is going to P1 in 2012, and now we have two choices for schools to apply both in 2C.
school N-northland(heard good in math and science) is within 1km from our own address.
school C-chongfu (heard good in language) is within 1km from grandparents’ address.
Both school’s PSLE results seem comparable. we are eligible to use grandparents’ address.

question: 1.which school is better
2.if apply C first and failed, will affect the chances to apply N since we cannot apply two schools at the same phase?
