Dear Mummies and Daddies,


Today my DD brought back Essential List for English and Spelling List for Chinese. My DD wrote something about starting English Spelling on 19 Jan but no clue about Chinese Spelling. Anyone's DD in P1-Hibiscus? Maybe your DD picked up Chinese Speling starting date, unlike my blur DD :nailbite:

Today's menu is just a chocolate cake and a slice of watermelon which when my girl came back she was starving bcos not a big portion.

My DD only eat the watermelon and eat chocolate bread on the way home. We can't bring them in tomorrow, right? So where should they go pass the gate? Class? Hall? Or just ask the prefect?
So many little things that is not clear. Maybe the teacher told my DD, but she said she doesn't know. Tomorrow my DD will have Chinese, PE, Math, English. So Does she have to pack everything? Textbook for Chinese and Math, exercise book, stellar handwriting, Han Yu Pin Yin Book, Chinese Cue Cards? Did they tell our DD which one to take to school, or they just bring the whole thing?

According to what the form teacher told her. No need to being back timetable just put it at home and if can copy it into their communication book for the kid's own reference in sch. If not u can just paste the timetable given in the comm book and refer to it every day when packing the bag. Story book is for silent reading in hall tomorrow.

Acc? Timetable is only a small piece of paper, does she need to bring it back? My DD class also need to bring English Story Book? Any story book? My DD mention about the S.B.A. and stellar handwriting. Is that the one? My DD was very blur today

Hi I think can put her in pE attire. However I am also puzzled whether she needs to wear her pinafore? Or whole day can be in shorts and t shirt?

The school collected quite a no of books so their bags are lighter now.

I think they need to wear the pinafore on top of PE uniform. Another question, starting tomorrow DD need to pack all textbook according to the timetable? A's textbook only at least.
Anybody knows what is FTGP/Assembly?

Sorry to ask so many question mummies and daddies… Just saw my DD’s timetable. Will the subject full in motion tomorrow? I am just wondering whether to put DD in PE uniform tomorrow. How about Dance and gym? Should the girls be in PE uniform or just change at school? Thanks in advance…

It's too disruptive to have class parties but some teachers allow the girls to distribute goody bags. Check with the teacher?

Hi all p1 to be mummies,

Was packing dd's bag last night and there's a ruled jotter book to be packed. Which is that? The one without lines? I only hv 1 without lines and another I believe is for art and craft. So I am unsure.
For the single line ex books, do we bring 1 or 2? Hv u wrote on the subject header too?
Lastly are u all going to be with dd the entire day in school on 1st day?

I have the exact question, but I guess I'll ask her to pack the blank jotter book, 1 extra single line book. As for the 1st day, I don't think we're allowed to stay the whole day. We can only take our DD to the hall and leave them there. Does anybody know about birthday celebration at CHIJ? Do they have time to celebrate at school? Or can we just give the classmates goody bags?
