There were 1600 pupils in a primary school.When the number of boys increased by 76 and the number of girls decreased by 4%,the total enrollment in the school increased by 4%.How many boys were there in the school at first?

I need a help to solve this problem. A fruit seller had 600 apples & oranges altogether. After he sold 1/5 of his apples and bought another 60 oranges, the number of oranges was 2/5 the number of apples. (I need help for this question !) Mr. Lee left town at 6.45am and drove at a uniform speed of 60km/h to Town Q.Mrs Chen left town P at 7:15am and drove towards Town Q along the same expressway as Mr Lee.She passed him at 10:15am and continued driving at the same speed until she reached Town Q.The distance between Town P to Town Q was 560km.How far was Mr Lee from Town Q when Mrs Chen reached Town Q ?

Hi I need a help to solve this problem.Three girls Alice,Bernica and carol shared a box of cubes in the ratio 5:3:4 and there 4 cubes left over.These 4 cubes were placed together with a second box of cubes.The second box contains 7/8 of the number of cubes in the first box.The girls then shared the cubes in the second box in the same ratio as before and there was no remainder.Find a) the total number of cubes they shared in the first box. B) the total number of cubes carol received after both rounds of sharing.
