Following on from my previous posts, do you also have recommendations for support resources or services tailored for students studying international curricula that can be delivered outside SG and/or online?

As parents may plan to send their children for overseas study but would like to continue with their regular tuition.

My boys have been assigned to do some preparatory work for their EE.


They have a research question in mind. But have issues with turning it into an argumentative / evaluative essay. If there are some EE examples, that would be great.

As parents, I believe the reasons for why my family opt for IB as versus to traditional curriculum for my children would be the value of IB in nurturing students’ generic skills in knowledge investigation, particularly when it comes to research and independent project; as well as the international recognition of the qualifications which facilitate the children to develop their study/future career abroad.

So what are the reasons for why you as parents choose IB? What do you do to support your children’s studies? Are there any support resources or services which you have found particularly useful?

In my opinion, IB is more valuable than A levels. I prefer their subjects more than those offered in the A levels in a sense coz more 'well rounded' (A levels still very academic based which to me is more towards 读死书、死读书、读书死).

& I am one of those churned \"products\" At least can laugh at myself, not so bad lah.

My preference is IB too for DS ... then again - it'll be ages down the road.
