Got a piece of news from a reliable source that over the last few years, Teck Ghee Results surpass Anderson. I heard that Teck Ghee motivate the children to work very hard and give them lots of work to do. The teachers are given the time to help the children and they are also very driven. I think that is Teck Ghee winning formula. One good thing about this school is the lack of publicity efforts and that means no balloting for all the past years. I think it spends all its efforts on education and not on marketing.
hello.. wd like to share in this too... i am registering my girl in Anderson but i am not sure of the chances too though i stay within 1 km.. Am thinking of going for Teck Ghee for Phase 2CS if she fail to get in... not sure if balloting is required for phase 2CS for teck ghee?

I think high chance need to ballot for <1km in P2C. Look at last's year stats...61 vacancies for P2C and 93 applicants are <1km. I am thinking of going for Teck Ghee too for P2CS.

      Hi

      For Teck Ghee:

Past 5 years, no balloting needed for 2CS

TUR this year is 38% until 2B, still seems to be within the threshold, although this a 5 % increase int he TUR until phase 2B as compared to last year.

On the other side, anderson has a huge increase on this year as compared to the last 5 years. For P2C, it left 33 places.

You may used past record to plan your move. All the best.
It's more important to measure the school by the results it produced than by popularity. I heard from my neighbours that Teck Ghee produces much better results than Anderson consistently over the years. My neighbour whose son is in Teck Ghee told me that the principal is very serious about producing results and imparting school values. According to my neighbour, she is at the gate and she monitors her teachers closely to produce results and ensure discipline. That was why my neighbour transferred her son from Anderson to Teck Ghee. Could anyone verify whether Teck Ghee produces much better PSLE results than Anderson? I have registered my daughter in Teck Ghee. Luckily no need balloting

I am going to register for Teck Ghee Primary School. Its results are so much better than Anderson Primary. Just wondering how come so many people want to go balloting at Anderson?
