But for my GRC, I have done 3 house visits and distribution of items 4 times in less than a year. The events normally during weekdays evenings and weekends. I’m still under observer status.
Hi experts,
May I know how much time do you need to devote in the 2 years timeline of becoming EM-executive members? Are those time specifically on weekends only?
Appreciate experts' advice on this.

:thankyou:
The new rule is, you can only choose the school within 2km from your home address regardless of which GRC you serve. So if your house address is under Holland Bukit Timah GRC but your target school is not under HBT GRC but within 2km, you can register under P2B. -

Hello! If I’m working as GRL in Holland-Bukit Timah cashew division, can I try phase 2B for schools under other divisions? Or even schools under other GRC?

Both schools are not within my options. But I’m curious about the differences in behaviour that you noticed. Can you share? 🤭 my nephew is in ACS btw and I have a couple of mommy friends aiming CH (through alumni).
dear mummies and daddies, a quick question. We have a boy born in 2017 and we are considering where we should send him to P1. The two schools that topped the chart was of course ACS Barker and Catholic High. We can qualify in both schools within 2B but really cracking our head hard where to send him.
We have seen great differences between behavior of the kids between 2 schools. Of course we understand that the kids behavior cannot be totally linked to the school as home parenting also does a great deal to their behavior. So we are lost! We have initially set our sights on Cat High but during this covid period, we have came across many Cat High boys that have somehow wavered our thoughts if we should really do that.
Any one has any comments, please hit me up. Thank you so much! -

Can you share what minus points are there being in a SAP school?
Point on, on the advantages of being in a SAP school. Depends on which side you are looking in from, it could be a plus or a minus.
-

Oops none of us is Hokkien. But I heard that one needs referral to be able to join the association.
SHHK : Singapore Hokkien dialect huay guan association.
Is for parents, whose father or mother is a Hokkien. As long as either spouse is a Hokkien, can join SHHK. -

Sorry what is SHHK?
I assume the two other (non-SAP) SHHKs are \"better than most\" (famous sports announcer phrase)? Perhaps \"offering more than the average school\" is another way to put it... -

Yah I googled that there are Japanese kindergartens in Singapore offering English and Japanese. But my kid is not a Japanese 🙈 I will look into duolingo app! Thank you for the suggestion
There are some Kindergartens that take in Japanese kids, these kids have lessons in Japanese. Some may have it as a language enrichment. You may also let him play Duolingo on your handphone.
-

I would have to agree with you on the stress part 🤭 how’s the homework load like?
stress are parents-induced.
used to hear my child in lower pri talked about dizigui during pre-covid. Now child in upper primary, don't hear much of it mentioned or rather maybe I don't probe enough.
