Would like to ballot for Tao Nan for SC within 1 km and the backup plan would be either Haig Girl or CHIJ Katong. Any idea which one is better academicwise ( we don’t care about the religion).

I don’t think steps will effect school decisions as so called "famous school" normally will not accept children via STEPS. It is just my own thoughts. School teachers will be on leave from end of this week onwards thus I guess if we can not receive any news within this week, the chances are slim then.

May I know who have got transferred successfully or got the offer from schools using GEP 1st round notification?

dear parents, since psle is over, would be super appreciated if you could pm me your recommended teacher / tuition for science. I am a desperate mom of a p4 girl and she told me she was so confused in the OE questions although we have done a lot of school papers and spent plenty of time in analyzing the problems together.


But I feel the efficiency is quite low. We put great efforts but result is not that positive cause I really don’t know the tips for the OE questions .

I think it is definitely a good thing for them to experience a tense exam like this and I am sure they will gain from it. I feel my ds is more confident after 2 days examinations which I have not seen on her for long. Although she told me there were a lot of maths questions she had never seen before, she was quite happy that she managed to sit there and finish all papers. I told her it is quite normal and no need to worry about the result as 10% is already something and 1% shall be left to God to decide.


Her ranking of the papers: Maths GA / English GA / English / Maths

My girl said maths very difficult one and there are lots of questions she has not seen before. She only work out 1 problem in section b with full confidence and all others she just anyhow write and don’t know correct or not. There are total 20 OE questions in section B.


She is not good at maths so it is expected that she would say that.

If I have purchased a property (lets say everything is finalized in May 2019) and it is a property with tenant contract until Sep 2019.

Can I still use this address to register for P1 in 2C phase around July 2019? Is it a valid address? I will only be moving and living there maybe around end of 2019.

Hi, my son is from Thomson branch, liftoff class. His teacher is Teacher Darren. Previously he was with Teacher Khyla in the launchpad class. However, she had left the centre for further studies.


Currently there are 4 teachers in the centre. One of the teachers is new as she is replacing Teacher Khyla. You may wish to talk to the teacher who will be teaching your child. So far, the teachers there should be not bad.

Teacher Derren is the one who gave my daughter the assessment that day and I quite like him. But he told me he has 5 children in launchpad class while another teach (Laura?) has only one on Sat morning.

So I am hesitating a bit and I do want to choose a good nice patient teacher for my daughter.
