I am paying
- $50 per month for the bus ( 2 ways, no difference in price if u only taking 1 way)
- $295 per month for the Student Care Service at Morning Stars
Cos i am staying around blk 80+, therefore it is nearer for me to put them at Blk 95. However, there is another student care centre at Blk 70 under PCF and the price is lower if i am not wrong.
You can check out the student care centres at http://childcarelink.gov.sg/ccls/home/CCLS_Home.jsp

RE: Bedok Green Primary
Bedok Green does not have any in house student care centre. Both my kids are in P3 and P1 this year. I had put both of them at the morning stars student care centre at blk 95. They are being charatered to the student care centre everyday after school.
From my boy’s orientation, the school will be setting up the student care center at the end of this year (part of the school upgrading programme) but not too sure when this will be completed. -
RE: All About Recreational Swimming
My kids (5yrs and 8yrs) had been learning swimming for around 6mths. Their current coach decided to stop the lessons in bedok swimming complex by end of jun. looking for a new coach . Any recommendation? Preferred timing - sat morning.

RE: [Bedok] BASC
Ya. That i agreed. At first i tot blk 214 is better in the sense that it is near bedok interchange, easiler for me to pick her up after work.
Blk 95 is a bit out of the way as there is only bus no 17 from bedok interchange. Another way is to walk from blk 85 market.
But since she said that she is very comfortable at the student care there, therefore i had decided to drop the idea of changing.
BTW the student care at blk 125 will be closing at the end of the year. -
RE: [Bedok] BASC
I think so.. cos they are not able to be found under http://www.childcarelink.gov.sg.
Currently my girl is in Blk 95 Bedok North Morning Stars Student care. The staffs there are very patient and my girl really enjoyed it. -

RE: Bedok Green Primary
That’s a good choice. Hope you can get a place for your girl. FYI. I had also called up cherie hearts at Blk 219 which supposed to provide student care service according to the childcarelink.gov.sg. As expected, they do not provide as well.

RE: Bedok Green Primary
Hi,
My girl is currently in blk 125 student care. The majority students there are from Bedok Green and Fengshan Pri. However, the centre is quite old and not renovated. The teachers there are very strict and I always see the kids (including my girl) who get punished by standing up to do their homework. There are only 2 teachers to about 20 students and normally by the time they wake up from their nap, there is only 1 teacher left.
The students will need to line up if they have any questions, normally by the time it reach their turn, it might be time for them to go home.
I have just sign her up in another student care centre at blk 95 Bedok North Ave 3. This centre is associated to St Anthony but they do take in other school’s students. -
RE: Bedok Green Primary
Ya. I think this happens in the old towns. Previously i stayed in Sengkang and it seems that you can find student care centres every few blocks away. If you are staying in Bedok South, the nearest student care centre that is near Bedok Green will be at blk 70 Bedok South Ave 3, near Temasek Pri School.
Blk 24 YWCA is a childcare centre but it also provide student care service for only Bedok Green Students. I had called them up before and was told that it is full. Maybe you can try calling them again to check if they are accepting for next year.
