Is it better to be in the better class in P3 after banding? I heard P2 (8 classes) will be banded into P3 (6 classes) with the 'not as good in math' students in smaller class. That per say.. the better class will be in bigger number.

I think the teachers in the school will do the wise allocation and we shall trust them in it. At the same time we can encourage our kids to do better in the coming tests.
      Just my 2cents.

Maybe they need us to buy the uniform/PE attire so got to let us know first. I just wonder what is so special about the school shoes that we need to buy from school?

We can buy school shoes from outside, as long as meeting the requirements. It’s for busy parents who have no time to shop ard for kids full attires. It’s just an additional "goodwill" services from the school vendor.

      Hi there,

I was told by the chinese teacher that although the child is taking higher chinese, their test or exam papers will be the same as the those taking the normal ones...
could anyone advise? I thought the higher chinese students will be taking 2 papers: 1 normal chinese and 1 higher chinese papers..

      Thank you.
I think this is normal and adv chinese student perhaps taking more intensive chinese against those non-adv chinese student, and logically they expecting better exam results from adv chinese student.

      Just my 3 cents.
