Agents are useless other than squeezing money from employers (note Gov also squeezing money) so I don’t see any advantage of using AGENTS to employ maids. The whole process is very simple and foolproof.


If you know who you need to bring as a helper and can trust ur overseas facilitator then no need for Singapore Agent sharks.

My daughter is appearing for PSLE this year (2018) and will be going to S1 next year. I (as parent) am very confused whether she should be choosing her school solely based on the T-Score or there should be preference on other factors as well ?


Other factors such as :
1. School proximity : Is it near by? I prefer not to travel her for 1 Hr (1+1=2 Hrs 2 ways) daily
2. Mother Tongue @ School : Some schools does not have MT in the school so that needs to be done on Sat - this is a pain
3. 4 Years or 6 Years course : Does the school have JC partner? otherwise, in 4 years , she will have to go for year 5 exam again
4. Any other factors do other parents realized?

In the year 2019 : Which Secondary Schools will have Hindi Mother Tongue @ Sec 1 ?


Sec School selection itself going to be a mind boggling exercise. In addition to that , this is going to be another challenge that all schools do not have Hindi Mother Tongue. I am not a big fan of stressing my child to go for Hindi classes on Sat. I prefer to get that done on the weekdays within the school Hrs itself and lets her enjoy her childhood ( if at all possible ! ). So want to get the list of schools which will have Hindi mother tongue in the school itself ( in 2019 ).

Parents - Pls suggest if anyone have already gone through this dilema. Thanks in advance. :thankyou:
