DD didn't get into this school

she got into her 2nd choice which is Hai sing

DD also got 222 and I took a risk and put Edgefield as the first choice

so, even if DD aggregate is lower than the school COP, i can still put in as first choice?
(ngee ann is 225 for affiliated but she got 222)
reason why i am asking and cautious, becos i do not wish to waste the 1st choice chance

and if i put Greendale as 2nd choice, will she lose that slot at Greendale bcos she didn't put it as her first choice?

wonder if her T-score is 3 marks lower than the cut off, what are the chances of appealing?

or should I put her ideal school as first choice (even if is 3 marks short)? I do not want to waste the first choice if the chances is not high

how does appeal take place, is it tedious? need some advise
