Hello if i would like to enrol my son into KCPPS, do i need to join any church to get into Phase 2B as both my hubby and I are christians? Otherwise we will be in phase 2c and living >2km away from the school

The schools around our hse are either Aitong, St Nic, (both less than 1km) and Anderson, Mayflower & Teck Ghee (these 3 are within 1-2km). i've checked and it seems like Aitong, St Nic and Anderson will be filled up by Phase 2B... No chance for 2C like us right?

No schools can ever be filled up by Phase 2B because they have to set aside a minimum of 20 seats for both Phase 2B and 2C. For ATS and SNGS, 20 to 25 seats is probably the maximum that you will get. Application to these schools at Phase 2C is not for the faint hearted.

Notwithstanding, I perfectly understand why people would want to try for ATS, SNGS or Anderson even if the odds seem low. Unlike some neighborhoods, whereby if your ballot was unsuccessful in Phase 2C, your next alternative is > 2km away, you have no such worries in AMK. There are still many reasonably good, safe options in Phase 2CS if you are a SC. There is no downside even if you aren’t successful at the ballot.

Hi all, i’m staying at AMK and planning to enroll my son who is born in 2014 into KCP. As we are staying more than 2km away from the sch, would it be better to use my parents address instead as they are staying within 1-2km away from the sch since we will be falling under Phase 2C. will there be a high risk for Phase 2C to get into KCP if both husband and I are SC?
