My son is in K1 and he has been exposed to phonics in school and enrichment class. He started to recognize a lot of words or even short sentence. I understand the importance of reading, and mostly I read books to him, may I know how to do the transition to self-reading?

Also any good books to recommend for children to start self-reading?

Hi Parents! I’m currently an active GRL in my RC and the school we want to enroll our kids is in another region.

I understand that I can be qualified as 2B for the school where I stay, not where I serve the community.
But may I know how the process work? Once I move, I update my address with police station, and then my address will be updated in PA system and then I will be qualified and get the letter?
My concern is once my address is not in the RC I serve, will it make me disqualified as active GRL? Or will the RC remove me?
