The usual advice we have been given is to make sure your first choices are firmly 1-2 points 'safe' of the previous year's COP. Been to a couple of open houses where this was the advice as well. Might be only a 50/50 chance of getting into the school with an AL score which is exactly the COP.
Hi Parents, would you have any advice on the probability of getting into SJI based on a PSLE score of 10, which is the cut off point of SJI? My 2 nd choice is a school with COP of 11, and I am very worried that if I can’t get into SJI as my first choice, I lose the seat in my 2 nd choice school as well (because I placed it as my second choice instead of first). Have heard horror stories of kids being placed in a less than desired school because of how they place their school choices. Would really appreciate any advice on this. Thanks so much.
