    • Suggested topics for 2012 A-level Physics H2 Paper 3

Hi, here are some suggested topics for current JC2 students to pay special attention to. Warning: We are not some deity who knows what will appear but are simply doing our own analysis using past years' papers. Do not simply study the topics listed only as earlier topics might resurface.

    • RE: Free download of top JC Physics prelim papers

Hi, Quintessential Mum. I'm so sorry. I must have changed the URL unwittingly when I edited the file recently and re-uploaded it via FTP. The link should surely work now. I've tried it myself. Do let me know again if there is any problem.

The http://www.thephysicscoach.com/free-exam-papers-and-notes/ are for those from 4 of the top JCs: NJ, RI, HCI, VJ.

I'm afraid we don't have English and Mother Tongue papers as we specialise in Math and Science.

    • RE: Robotics

At primary school level, they will usually learn how to use Lego Mindstorm to program a line following robot-car for a race. But that might differ from school to school.

    • RE: Economics in Sec Sch

Your child must be in a good school, perhaps an IP school? If there was this subject in Sec school, I would definitely have opted for it. Many JC students struggle with Econs, which is an entirely new subject as compared to the usual O level ones.

By taking Econs at Upper Sec, your child will have an edge over the other JC students two years later.

Bearing in mind that most JC students take Econs (as a contrasting subject), your child should really consider this as setting a good foundation for JC.
