I sleep like maybe 4h during exam periods…
Not because I play too much computer or handphone games (I limit myself to 3h per weekend and 30min on weekdays) but because I am in student council. My school also ends at between 3-4pm everyday so I naturally have less time to do homework and thus my sleeping hours decrease.
But the one thing I cannot understand is why my school gives me 2.5h of lunch break on fridays but yet dismisses me at 3pm.

RE: National Junior College (Junior High)
When I boarded last year I used to share the costs of the washing machine with my friends. I didn’t trust the laundry service because on the third day of boarding (the first day that laundry came back) my roommate lost 2 whole bags of clothes. At the end of boarding she had lost a total of 7 bags of laundry. I heard her parents were so pissed with having to replace all the clothes and having them get lost again. My friend reported to boarding office a lot of times.

RE: Is GEP really necessary?
I am in Sec 2 IP now and I only get an average of 5.5 hours of sleep everyday. And it isn’t even exam period now. I return home from school at an average time of 8pm (all the traffic jams) and I only have CCA once a week. I don’t even have any tuition.

2 years ago when I was in P6, my school discipline mistress said that all unkempt hair must be cut by a certain date or she will call in a barber to do it for us.

RE: Q&A - PSLE English
I would suppose it’s answer 2, because there are 2 subjects at the beginning of the sentence. Not sure though.

RE: All About Preparing For PSLE
My brother is not studying at all and he’s sitting PSLE this year. It is apparent that he doesn’t care about his future and thinks that he will still be able to get a good job even if he goes to a "crappy" secondary school. My parents have tried all ways and means of getting him to study for PSLE (e.g. reward him for studying, punish him for not studying, giving him scenarios concerning his ruined future etc.), but he’s still not studying. Is there any way to make him study?

RE: All About Preparing For PSLE
I sat PSLE two years ago, now sec 2 in IP school. My advice is don’t overstress the kid, just let him or her try his or her best. DSA is useful and if the kid gets a place during DSA it takes a lot of pressure off him or her. Don’t overstretch the child, if you tell the kid to do something that you / him knows he cannot do, then his motivation and confidence will plummet and he will not do as well. All parents will be worried, but if the parent is over-worried the kid will be very stressed.
Supplements like ginseng may or may not help, but I don’t think there’s any scientific proof that it helps.
