RE: Club Senior Boys and Girls
Hello vfong
I was head over heals when I see your link on the nintendo \"Octopus\" - I am from that era too! wow I love it, it reminds me of my 1st Nintendo the \"manhole\" - it was a gift from my primary school teacher as a reward of my good performance (favouritism  ) I also own the Octopus, helmet & Popeye ~ but they were gone after we moved house, don't know where they have gone to
:?
Do you know where can I get these games? I love them and have the next generation one with 2 screens (top & bottom) guess u also know them, they were the hottest stuff during my time.vfong1:
It is the game and watch by Nintendo. Mine was the octopus. I also used it for alarm clock for my morning school last time.

dearest luvmumMe sharing....
When I was doing my childcare scouting, Seedlings Patch was one of the consideration. Spoken to the teacher (quite ok) and looking at the environment (messy I feel, cramped), I did not sign my child up at that time though I like their reading corners. Even playground is indoor which makes it more congested.
I enrol my child to Children's campus at Cashew Height. U will see a difference and the course fee is $850 for full day care. At that time, the school was newly opened so teacher quality was good. Centre mgr is professional and helpful. Overall childcaring, curriculum and teaching are rated as good. But since end of last yr, can see the standard of the teacher dropped when the old ones left. But I feel for N1, N2 level that is still alright. So do scout ard and make comparison, I know there is Agape, Cherie Heart, Gloryland which you can take a peep first. :celebrate:
Thank you for replying and sharing your view.
I have the same sentiment as you for the centre which I have just visited; cramped, messy, noisy, untidy... so shall drop of this option.
Shall keep on our seacrh till we can find one that we Love!

cs montessori.
Oh CS is a good school. My daughter attends the phonics class at BTP. It has been 5 months but she can now read 3 and 4-letter words. What is your concern actually?
For me, I feel that my daughter has made good progress in her current school Faith Montessori.
Pls excuse my ignorance..
may I know what does CS stand for? Where is the centre; BTP and Faith Montessori?
Anyone knows of any good Montessori child care centre at Bt. Panjang, Jurong East or Bt. Batok?
Thanks for sharing :?: -
RE: [Bukit Panjang/Bukit Timah/Hillview] Preschools
Any comment/ feedback on St. Joseph Childcare Centre?
I am thinking of putting my 3.5 y.o girl in this centre. I have seen the centre and like the huge area and not many students in the centre ~ 40 kids only. But really concerned about the teachers' quality and if the curriculum is rich enough for the young ones?
My gal is currently in another Church childcare centre and have been there for about 6 months already. We felt she din learn much and has been really laxed in her manners. So worried that she is unable to catch up with her peers! Couldn't hold a pencil properly, can't read, never hear her singing any songs.... Things like these are already taught to my friend's dotter (a year younger than my gal) in her childcare centre!
I am so worried and am looking for a better change. Anyone has any good recommendation on a reliable childcare centre @ Bt. Panjang area?
