During the PTM, the form teacher should have mentioned where your child stand. I heard from my DD that the mean score is 3.23 and the highest is 4 ( the student scored like 3.99 so they round up to 4). Don't know how true is this, though.[/quote]
Yup, its true. My dd's classmate scored 4! and she said there is one more 4 in 1L! :udawoman:

Got back the BIG report book. Less informative now...relative performance % is missing...cant gauge now where my DS 'standing'...i mean cant compare with the whole cohort...i do heard some mummy complained abt the 'top 75%' make it 'so ugly' last year...so now NO % NO ANGER..agree ?

like to check with parents with sec 1 kids...how many CL compo have your child done so far...to my horror my dd did only 1 compo (did it in term 1) and worst of all, the compo is still not given back! :yikes: In Pri school, they should have completed 4-5 compo by now! Wondering if all sec 1 classes is the same?

My dd (sec 1) says science is super difficult...says that she will be quite happy if she pass....any of your child feels the same?

she got back her geog yesterday, happy with her marks, wondering any full marks for that paper?

The pace of work is really picking up, right? DD says some of her friends stay up till past 12 to \"chiong\" their homework. Looks like they are all slowly adjusting :-).

For the past few nights, dd has been sleeping so late between 12 midnight to 2 am! She said she is given lots of homework to be completed within a short span. What is going on?

Really!? My DD seem to be very free and relaxed......a bit scary leh :nailbite: ! She even has the time to read story books and follow TV drama series and she's always sleeping early @ nine plus :siao: !! When I nagged at her she says her teachers fixed deadlines within manageable time and the assignments are not too difficult. Dunno whether to be worried or not....
She is also in CO!

CCA is starting this week (i think so) but DD still do not know which CCA she is in! :slapshead:
