My guess is it is either water vapour or steam.

It is steam if gas is at boiling point or above boiling point. If gas produced below boiling point it is termed water vapour. Both cannot be seen.

Water vapour. Water exists as water vapour (gas) between O and 100 deg C when boiling. The bubbles/gas is water vapour in the water. When the water is boiled, gas rises above the water into the air since the water is = or above 100 deg C, it is steam. Hope I am correct.

I think you should let your girl take her Gr1 exam in yr 2010 with her cc teacher first. Let her join her school ballet enrichment after her Gr1 exam but at the meantime join CCA in the school. It will be too late for her school ballet teacher to enrol her for Gr1 in yr 2010. She can continue Gr2 with a new class in the school after that. You may inform the ballet teacher that she is joining for Gr2.
