DS bought a plate of rice and egg from a stall in the school canteen. It costs 80 cents , he gave the seller $1 and expect the 20 cents change. But the seller gave only 10 cents change . When DS asked for additional change, she shoo him away. Anyone kids experience this ?

My kid experienced that too.... so now I told my kid to give exact amount or else ask how much to give first before paying.

FYI,

P2 books are still not available for purchase. I called up the Bookshop - Asencio Pte Ltd to check, they told me already available at bookshop daily… but when I went down to buy, the lady said stock is still unavailable. :SS

I realized PCS has no CA1 for P1-P3? unlike other schools, they have CA1 before the march holidays.

I just realised that for P1 books, only the Targetting Companion book is not bought yet.

Anyone’s kids in P3 has books bought and yet not collected?

During P1 orientations, we have purchased books and I remember some of them we have to pay for it but to be collected at a later date, and some awaiting for the publisher to come to the school to sell.
Can anyone tel me which are the paid books and which are the publisher selling books please?
Becos I lost my booklist, thus the records are lost too. I am wondering if those books that we have paid for, are we supposed to collect from the bookshops ourselves.

Hehe, our kids will be in the same class again!

Went to buy texts at sch bookshop yesterday and many were sold out! Went Popular and still didn't manage to get all. Did everyone here manage to buy all your texts? Cannot order online from Pacific Bookstore too, its really troublesome.

I went on 24/11. No stocks for all books on Newton Series, all books on higher chinese except 3A text. For Newton Series, I forgot to ask them what they mean by stating \"sold by publisher\". Anyone has any idea?
