Mommies, would like to check with you...does any of your child complain of insufficient time to eat during recess? I was told by my gal, they need to stay back and finish homework in class and go for recess only after they have finished?

My ds didn't say anything with regards to the above, but then again, he's never motivated by food. :stupid: l

ast nite though, he told me that he finished his cookies that we packed for him, and since he's a extremely slow eater, i would assume that time is still enough.

Parents, p1 to p3 maths parents workshop on 18th feb and English workshop on 25th feb.

Both Friday workshops lei. I’m a working mum. What about the rest of the parents? So stressful to get my son to finish his homework on the day itself or am I the only one feeling the stress?
I emailed the chinese teacher on the spelling list this morning and she called me up earlier. Apparently, the chinese spelling tests would start next friday and that she would distribute the list this afternoon.

It's HYPY spelling tests...there's the junior investiture this Saturday...

Today, their form teacher had chosen class monitor, monitress and perfect. My girl was non of them, she was so upset and came back and cried bitterly. 😢
Oh, my son didn't even mention anything on this. Guess he can't be bothered. šŸ˜›

It's so nice to know that your girl wanted to be appointed as the monitress.

Pm me so that we can exchange phone numbers. I can't post my number here. šŸ˜„

We can only identify ourselves that day by calling each other that day. Any other suggestions?

My son lost his water bottle and colour pencils today! :stupid: he came back with a cut on his lips too! Claimed that one classmate banged his head on the table. Don't know whether to believe him or not! :?

From my dd, she told me that the HYPY spelling test will be starting from this Friday and the date on the spelling list indicated 14/1/2011.

you are right. I looked at the form and it said 14/01. but i am quite sure that the teacher told me it should start from next friday. :? but anyway, looks like we better prepare our kids for the spelling then.

Parents who want to meet up this sat, please pm me.

Parents, shall we meet up during the event this saturday, since our children are in 1E ? We should exchange contacts, so that we can always be on top of things. :celebrate:
