My son also seems quite well adjusted after the 1st week in school. He's not too good about buying food though, no $$ concept still... >.<

Also, i just realised after looking through the booklist that for chinese, all the textbooks are higher chinese. Does this means that from P1 onwards, all the kids will be studying higher chinese regardless of their mandarin standards? Thanks, would appreciate any replies.

Thanks all for the congrats. Now headaching over student care, haha. The only student care that will help to bring to school is full, others all have to arrange for schoolbus transport which will add up to extra costs and also worried my boy sometimes blurblur like that will miss the bus.


Actually, i don’t have to put him in next year cos my parents are around to help. But worried if Pri2 then wanna enroll student care will have problems getting a spot as they will give priority to their P1 pupils…

Yay! My son got in EPS! I couldn't go for the balloting myself due to work issues but my parents went and his name got called up during 50+... My mum said she almost got heart attack, was so worried couldn't get in. Out of 185, only 23 PRs. Really very happy about this cos the school is just downstairs.

Hi, my first post here and it's a sad post....


Just got back from short cruise and becos no reception at all, only got the sms from MOE half an hour back. So sad that have to ballot even within 1km, am very very worried if can't get in EPS cos the other 2 choices are out of the way and have to arrange school bus, etc. :((((

Really have to pray hard got good luck during balloting. Really hard to pass the days till then!
