Hello, I would like to check with parents on the STEAM DSA for National Junior college (NJC). My understanding is that over 1000 people went for the trials, and around 20 of them, including my child, were selected for interview. My child was ultimately rejected for the STEAM domain. I looked through the thread and it seems like no one reported a CO from NJC for STEAM. The only ones CO I find are for kids from music programme. As such, I am wondering if there are confirmed offers from the JC for STEAM, and if so, possible to share the profile of the children?

She had already made it to the final interview stage after going through the 1st round written, followed by the next round - project group work.

DS just got back his prelim results as below and based on the T-Score factor of 0.7 (low end) and 0.75 (high end), his expected score is 242 - 260.

Eng - 84
Chi - 86
Sci - 82 (according to him, the highest in level is 87 as the marking was strict)
Ma - 95

He said if his prelim is good enough for HCI (1st choice) or RI (2nd choice), he may consider giving up DHS (3rd choice) if offered but looking at his T-Score, not sure if that would be a wise choice. Any views?

my estimate (using an online t-score calculator) for ur DS is 251. seems like less than 50/50 chance of HCI/RI, to be honest. Is there cca commitment for the hypothetical DHS offer? Is DHS kinda near ur home?
