"yes, above are the final numbers
102 vacancies
Total enrolled = 140 SC, plus 2 PR
Within 1 km : 60
1-2 km : 10
Outside 2 km : 70
No. of vacancies for balloting, SC outside 2 km = 32
70 SC outside 2 km : ballot for 32 vacancies
Balloting ratio risk = 2 : 1
(every 2 girls, ballot for one seat)"
But why is the MOE website saying that 143 ppl registered for 102 places?

RE: 2014 P1 Registration Exercise for 2015 In-Take
For withdrawal, must we take queue number and join the queue with the registrants or is there a separate queue for withdrawal? Thanks

RE: Raffles Girls' Primary
Thank you for the detailed explanation above. Really useful for those >2km. I also kindly urge all parents who are within 2 Kms to please not leave us in a lurch in the last min on 1st August. Please register early for us to guage the situation.
I have one qn. Itβs mentioned above that if we withdraw from say sch A which we have registered successfully with in the earlier phases, we cannot got back there. Does that mean that if we withdraw from Sch A on the 3rd day of phase 2C, and we start monitoring sch B but then later we realise that sch B is risky/ less chance, we canβt immediately go back to sch A to register freshly under phase 2C? -
RE: Raffles Girls' Primary
Hi, looking at the current registration rates for RGPS, what are the chances for SC >2km in Phase 2C?
Is RGPS setting a cap for the maximum number of vacancies in Phase 2B and for those who do PV?
And how does the withdrawal process work? That is, if we intend to withdraw from a school where we have obtained a confirmed place, do we need to go down straight to that schoool to withdraw or do we do it online somewhere?
Finally, does the online registration for Phase 2C, which has been implemented this year, allow a single parent who is divorced to do the application online? Cos I see that both parents' singpass is required for online application. So will a single parent with full sole custody, care and control of the child be able to use the online system with one singpass alone?
Sorry for line-up of questions. I appreciate your help here

RE: jedamum's How to check my chances of getting a school?
Hi, I've a query. I was previously from St Margaret's Primary. And now we are within 1 KM range. But I have not done any PV and not in alumni also. So do I fall into Phase 2A2? What are my daughter's chances based on the previous years? I'm so sorry I dunno how to read the statistics given here.
Also, looking at RGPS website, I realised that in the previous years, they had balloting for Phase 2C ( <1km) and there were no vacancies/balloting for Phase 2C (>2Km).
This year since they have 40 compulsory places in Phase 2C, are there chances for people living >2Km from RGPS ( no ex student, no PV, nothing )?
I really appreciate your help
