Hmmm seems like getting a reasonable agency fee agency is important… Those that charge low fees tends to side with the maids so that they can recall their maid back and send them to another employer… Sounds like churning in my sense.
I employed a maid previously which was poached by this kind of agency which promised low agency fees and higher sAlary for them. This works for the maid advantage as they can have higher pay and easily find an employer due to lower agency fees. In the end, when you have probs with your maid… Not only will they not find a replacement for u but give excuses that it is ur fault then send this maid to another agency to earn.
Ultimately, agency fee costs do have an influence in our decision making but we got to think about the whole pic. Best is to check with MOM to see whether agency got received any complaints and stuffs. End day, chances of employers too free and makes complain are few. Most will go to this stage as last resort
