I saw that some parents are looking for a Math tuition:
My son was being tutored by Ms Ong who was the former Head of Maths Department, Hwa Chong Institution. You may call her at 9669 0156.
His Math grades were below average during Year 1 & 2. His Year 4 EOY results for both his Maths were A+.

Hi,
Hi, can anyone recommend a tuition centre(s) that DHS students usually go to for Lower Sec Math tuition? Understand that IP Math from different schools teach different topics.
Looking for tuition for next yr Sec 2. Thanks.
My son is now in Year 4 and did pretty well for both his Maths. His is being tutored by Ms Ong who was the former Head of Maths Department, Hwa Chong Institution. You may call her at 9669 0156.

RE: Had problems with in laws in the past.....
What I am going to say you may not like it…
If a guy had made my daughter pregnant at 20 years old, I would hate him too. I dont blame your FIL to be honest. And the way you sounded, it is as if your FIL owes you. -

Depends. For months I thought those guys were quarreling. Actually they were just discussing. They used to be my office people.
The differences are in their body language when one speaks loudly vs shouting in anger...
I was certainly able to differentiate between talking VERY loudly vs shouting. :evil:dachzael:
People of certain cities in china do talk VERY loudly. It may be mistaken for shouting.
It is just the way they talk, as if everyone else is deaf
Cultural differences.
I am surprised that you mentioned it may be mistaken for shouting... even my 5-year old daughter is able to tell the difference. :rotflmao: -

Not rude??? Hmmm... I understand if I had bargained and walked away... I browsed for less than 30 seconds and didn't even touch and simply walked away when I realized the model that I wanted was not there.
To be fair, this isn't consider rude - in the context of China.dachzael:
Speaking about the rudeness in China, I experienced it first hand in Shanghai's Ke Ji Guan - a tourist shopping centre.
While my wife and her sister were busy looking at bags, I wanted to get a phone cover for my daughter at the next shop. I didn't see the phone covers of the model on the shelf, so I walked off without asking. As I walked away, I heard someone raised her voice... I turned back and to my surprise, she was yelling at me. She asked, \"Mister, do you want to buy or not?\", I replied \"No\"... she retorted, \"Don't look if you have no intention to buy\".
I was shocked at her behaviour... and due to the commotion, my wife and her sister came out of the other shop... the rude lady then barked at us in Shanghainese.
Cultural differences - what may be ok for some people isn't ok for others. -

The most successful investor of all time. Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffet said the most important thing to a long lasting marriage is not love, romance, humor but is \"low expectations\"
I beg to differ... without love, a relationship is as good as dead. -
RE: In-law problems?
Just wondering… you didnt suspect anything that you would have problems with your inlaws-to-be then before you got married? I know you’d say that the problems came up only after the inlaws moved in but leopard doesn’t change its spots. You probably had suspected then but you closed both eyes. Did you and your spouse talk about living with parents before marriage?
