Orientation for new PSG parents will be on Friday Jan 22nd in the Conference Room. Meet in the canteen first since most won’t know where the Conference Room is.

Well, first step is to check with the school bus operator Aedge to see if they service your area. Assuming you registered at Phase 3 of P1 Registration, hopefully MOE assigned your child to JSPS along with others from your area. Maybe if enough people ask from Bukit Merah, Aedge will run a bus. :xedfingers:

Quick reminder to those parents with children entering P1, Saturday July 4 is JSPS Open House. You can hear from the school’s Principal and tour the school. You can also ask questions to members of the PSG.

Sorry, I don’t have a solution for you. I think your predicament is not uncommon. As the parent in the article about the premium bus service mentioned, it would be cheaper to hire a taxi to ferry the kids each school day. But, that doesn’t address your concern about the booster seats. I assume you already got a quote from the school’s official bus service provider, and that doesn’t work for you.

Yeah, it was just a thought. If you can find four neighbours with cars who attend JSPS, then you can take turns ferrying the kids once a week. I’m not saying that will be easy to do, but it’s cheaper than paying $300 a month.

SSTA is piloting a premium school bus service for up to 5 children; but cost is quite high, estimated $300/month. Car pool with neighbors may be cheaper.

Don't forget, on Saturday May 30th, 2015, Jing Shan will celebrate its 70th Anniversary. From 8:30am to 3:00pm you can enjoy the Food and Funfair, and view the launch of the new Art Garden and Heritage Gallery. A commemorative book about the school will also be published.

The school has made a special effort to bring back some of your ex-Principals and teachers, whom you can meet in the Hall from 9:30am.

All are welcome, including pupils, parents, alumni, and parents considering P1 registration at Jing Shan.
