      2) Box P contains 250 red beads and 650 blue beads. Box Q contains 950 red beads and 850 blue beads. How many red and blue beads must be transferred in total from Box Q to Box P such that 80% of them in Box P are blue beads and 75% of the items in Box Q are red beads?

Thank you very much DamiaLee, but for the above, I am still confuse :?[/quote]

      1) Shirley left Town A at 10.30 am and cycled to Town B at a speed of 24km/h. Tim left Town C which is 12 km further away from Town A and cycled to Town B at a speed of 20 km/h. If both of them reached Town B at 12.45pm, at what time did Tim leave Town C?

There are 2400 red, blue and green marbles in Box A and Box B. In Box A, there are 25% as many red marbles as the total of blue and green marbles. There are twice as many marbles in Box A as Box B. 60% of the marbles in Box B were blue and green. After transferring some marbles from one box to another, 25% of the marbles in Box A and 75% marbles in Box B were red. How many marbles were there in Box A after the change?

      Hi, please help. TIA

There are two concentric circles (circles with the same centres) and a square in the following diagram. The four corners A, B, C and D of the square lie on the bigger circle. The four midpoints W, X,Y and Z of the sides of the square lie on the smaller circle. If the smaller circle has area 314m2, find the (a) area of square ABCD and (b) area of the bigger circle. (take pi = 3.14)
