Why can't they reduced the class size from 40 to 30 or even 25 students across all school then they dun need to close the school. More teachers needed tho.
Yes. Jus like that 7 secondary schools case. Apply already then know it will be closed for good.ksks:
Plus soon not-so-good jc may close....
And soon all leftover jcs are good jcs...
Tougher competition for top school yah  -

Thanks Careermum,Dandelion76:
For student who join Catholic JC this year mean that in 2017 when Eunoia JC start they will go to Eunoia JC?
IP students only go EJC in year 5.
Fr year 1-4, they stay put in their respective schools together with those on O lvl track.
So those who join chs this year will go EJC only in 2020, when the new campus at Bishan will be ready (hopefully).

RE: Appeal Secondary One Posting
Thanks zzz parent,
Hopefully he dun give standard answer like next time they will do it better etc etc…n move on.
I would like to see that he face the issue upfront and take immediate action, this batch of student are affected he owe us an explanation n action.
I’m not sure exactly what action you are expecting him to take? Further I don’t see this as a shift in policy but rather one of implementation, and presumably most parents don’t bank on appeals as a means of enrolling their children in schools since it was always a long shot to begin with?
Well if he implement something he should know how it impact the people…no?
I believed he is capable enough to handle with good action for any feedback… no?
I dun think he need people to provide him with solution for the action he take…no?
Anything implemented also a policy! -

I have referred him to this forum page and let him/moe team read by themselves. I do believe that there will always be cop for the TOP schools. It is not possible to pull everyone in just because everyone wants to get in. Moreover it may not be good for our kids if they are off cop by more than 2 points. Think the implementation of such change should be carefully considered and executed though.
Anyway, we have decided to move on and go for dhs last Saturday after seeing the different postings and info here. My Son's first choice was HCI and he was really disappointed when he knew he missed by one point. Maybe dhs is more suitable for him and a blessing in disguise :)
I'm not into top school but just a school which offer a cca that that dc would like to go to n her cop just miss by a bit. The current school that she posted to which is below the cop does not have the CCA that she wants. I'm realistic won't go for something so far away from her reach. -
RE: Appeal Secondary One Posting

To be fair, I don’t think he is aware. I have written to him to give feedback on this.
It is even scarier if he is not aware. If you do hear from him, please share what he has to say.
