Yes that’s my headache too… I didn’t expect EPS will be over-subscriped too since everyone is aiming at MTS, Horizon and Punggol View now…Maybe now the problem is too many children but limited sch around mature area…Golden rat year (39,800) has highest birth rate for e past 10 years after Dragon babies… Dragon babies (42,000) will be worst n really high depending on phase 2A if any…Today heard fr in-charge Singaporean will still have chance…now afraid more parents will give up Horizon (chances getting slimmer) n end up register at Edgefield tomorrow…just hope get in EPS as i dont want the Green n Green too…

Thks for joining this quiet forum… I am not keen on "popular" schools… Edgefield is very low profile…they dont trumpet n drum in promoting like other sch…Those see ppl Q, i also Q those type of attitude. I purposely avoid it some more as my hse just stone throw to Horizon… The competition is fierce for Horizon…if we get ballot out…we will end up lose out e choices and just take whatever left …just like my fren last year, her son end up at greendale… i rather go for our 2nd or 3rd choice in my list… Although it is not popular but the PSLE track record is consistent and good…they have 263 psle last year if i not wrong…beside academic, they have wide variety of ccs that the children can choose from which i dont think other sch has…and they even allow children as young as P1 to join in if they able to join…even if not popular up to 2nd day already oversubscribed as compare to greendale and punggol green…Thats just my 2 cents if thought…

Hi, i just registered my son under phase 2C today 31 July 2014. So far already exceeded 5 as available vacancies are 124. Now worrying it may end up balloting.


Edgefield primary’s forum is very "quiet" if compare to Horizon… hope more parents can join in for their school expects discussion!!!

Very satisfaction with the books, my boy just completed book 1 (chapter 10), total recognise 88 words from book 1, very happy I cant remember when did i start the book but we did it almost everynights (just 10-15min) or alternate night and he is 3++ now so i guess he is making a good/steady progress.. for those that still considering whether to invest or not in this programme, i shall highly recommend to you but of course daddy and mummy must put in same effort too oh:)
