My son is in P1/6. Everyday he has homework and spelling will be on every Wednesday. I was told by the teacher that there is no need to study hard for spelling but without memorizing how is him going to learnt how to spell those words and i can see that he feel stressed as he need to learnt to read those words in phonics booklets everyday. As you know the school hours is long which ends at 3pm and with the homework he need to complete, there is no much time that i can really do revision with him as i do not want to stress him up so everyday he only have about 1/2hr to 1 for his playtime where he can do his drawing. My friend’s son at another sch does not have homework as most of the work will be done in class and these seems to be what North vista is practicing last time as i saw from other forum thread that parents complaining no homework for them after school.
