I am not an expert on this but I think one needs to differentiate between "methodology/philosophy" and "program"."methodology/philosophy" would be Kodaly, Orff, Suzuki etc. "program" would be Yamaha, Kindermusik, Suzuki etc.Each method has their philosophy so good/bad does not apply here. Program integrates different methodology into structured packages, so whether a program is good/bad depends on:- how it is implemented- quality of the teacher- your expectation- your kids preferenceIf you believe it is important for your kid to learn an instrument young, then, probably go for suzuki. Note that for a proper suzuki program, parents involvement is expected.If you are looking for music appreciation, maybe kindermusik is better. Yamaha maybe something in between?
