I’m sure there will a few not so committed teachers even for tuition teacher is not easy to get a ’ real ’ committed one!
As parents, we have to be committed too .
My child is lucky to have a good teacher especially she did not attend any math tuition but shown a great improvement under the guardian of this teacher.
And last year, she has a caring and patience teacher.
I think depend on your luck, no guarantee that the class will get the best or not so good teacher.

RE: West Grove Primary
Hi giggler,
You can call Apeiron for free trial class according to my friend, she dd went for trial class before she decided to sign up for the class.
She said that the teacher very patient with her dd, will asked her to bring her school work to guide her. I think that is why she has a great improvement!
Serena greenhouse quite popular too. -

RE: Creative Campus - Discussion
Hi,
Nobody send their kids to creative campus?
They don’t seem to be popular in ksp. Just wondering how come their fee is comparable or higher than other popular English enrichment centre? -
RE: Tien Hsia - Discussion
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback:)
Tien Hsia introduce compo writing in kindergarten?
As for library, not every outlet has it right?jetsetter:

Can I check for TH lessons, how can parents help to revise with the child at home? For berries there r readers which I will get my child to read to revise, but TH lessons do not hv readers and mainly worksheets right?
Which level r u refering to? TH gives an avg 5-6 worksheets for K1 and they provide a new folder each term. I don't revise with my child after each lesson, cos I expect his teacher to teach for me. However, u might wanna be involved when they hv tingxie.
They have tingxie (3 characters) every other week (~2 times per term of 10 weeks). So far, I hvn't revised with my child for tingxie cos I expect him to know the strokes.
As for the Term-end (wk 10) \"show & tell\"/recital, I also never rehearse with him, cos I expect the teacher to train them well and showcase to us. But if u really wanna be very hands-on, you may practise with kid before the 'performance' which is open to all parents of all levels (N1 to K2).
It can be quite intimidating for some nursery level children. Recitals can be in the form of group or solo. Kids who are confident can raise their hand to volunteer to recite in front of everyone. Was quite amazed my child can go solo without my intervention.
TH doesn't print readers/story books per se which Berries does. TH does give a short passage 短文 on A4 sheet, akin to a reader, to kickstart each lesson. Kids will do simple compre on that passage to test their understanding of the passage. This is diff from poems which they also get at each lesson (which is for Term-end recital). Sometimes, they do picture compo, where they hv to narrate sequencing of events, using key words intro'd in that lesson. Other worksheets are your typical assessment books exercises: matching, circle, tick correct answers. Finally, it's the penmanship exercise 习字. some of these characters will be picked for tingxie notified 1 week in advance by teacher. Key takeaway per lesson : 2 new characters. Some lessons got proverbs.
TH have storybooks in their mini library corner which students are free to borrow, but I don't cos I am too lazy! -
