Hi! I'm new here XD. I got 258+2 for PSLE and I intend to put NJC as my second choice. First choice would be RGS. What's my chances to get in NJC? Also, why do we have to stay in the school for a term very year? That is my BIGGEST question.

265 for rgs is very safe. Given all the statistics that our ksp have churned out for this psle, the cop for rgs shd remain somewhat close to last year's.

YES!!! it is definitely MORE THAN SAFE :hi5: you are definitely able to get into RGS. NOT like me haha 258 only... I panicking!!! i also want to go RGS. hope my appeal is successful.

Any HCL ? If his preference is ri, then just put ri as first choice and hci as second. Posting is based on merit. I would say equally good chance to get into either school based on last year cop. And both are good schools. But still need to exercise care in your third and fourth choice, just in case.

If he likes RI, i think he should definitely give it a go his score is already very high. Besides RI and HCI, there is still DHS and NJC which are very good schools too

Your PSLE score? Well this option is strangely quite similar(other than cedar) to mine though that was last year.

Why didn't you try Cedar? Is it because that the school environment isn't that good? Or you have MUCH HIGHER EXPECTATIONS?? HEHE. May I ask, what school are you in now?

Just wondering if you have stronger preference for girls school cos I see that only NJC is coed in your choices? NJC is good but hope you know that it is compulsory for their students to stay one term every year in the hostel.

That's why my mum is worried that i get ahem.. DISTRACTED in NJC :yikes: HEHE

They look good to me. In the event you don't get RGS, you should get NJC. Good luck!

Im not sure about NJC, my mum says that i need to stay in the boarding school for a term in Secondary 1, she is afraid because of that. But she knows that the school is very good. Can you tell me more about NJC?? :thankyou:

St.Nicks is definitely better than Cedars, but considering your score, she should put Cedar as first choice. So that she can cope with her friends in future.
