    • RE: Travel: Korea - General

I saw this advertisement about cheap flights to Korea.

      http://voucherlicious.com/singapore/dea ... d-carry-ba

Although it says $300 for both ways, but the terms of use mentioned the package exclude fuel tax, airport tax, service which adds up to $440.

So actually, it isn't that cheap after all right?

I am not sure with all these terms.

What I plan to do with my children when they reach university is that I will agree to pay for them in advance, using CPF and then will request that they don't have to pay to CPF (to save them from all the interests) but they will still pay back slowly.

Can be done in this way? I thot child has to put in $$$ back to parent's cpf acct?

So if your child don't put in $$$ in cpf, then you (or someone) has to put $$$ back.

If I am not wrong (Check CPF website to be sure), when the child graduate from university, CPF will send a letter to the CPF account holder and ask if they want to waive the payment for their children, so the CPF account holder (who is the parent) can say waive and the child doesn't have to pay to CPF.

In this way, they are still working for it, and not spoon fed, and not taking it for granted.

I guess everyone’s children are different, and different family dynamics, so we just have to do what we think it’s suitable for us.
