My DS has also appealed successfully. Although its further from home but we are happy that we got into a better school.

if all schools are good schools, why are there schools that consistently produce better students (better average scores) be it in Primary school or secondary school…More has to be done to convince us that all schools are goods schools before parents can have a better piece of mind…


many parents painstakingly help their kids pursue CCA only to know that if you are not the top 10 in Singapore, you can forget about DSA… sometimes school only take in one students for each niche area…

There are so many things that causes parents to be so anxious these days…
the kids in the 22+ do not have many choices, although everyone will tell you its not too bad a score, quite good…

I have decided to get my DS his uniform even though I might be wasting some money. I don’t want him to feel embarrassed if he eventually did not get transferred…

Its a crazy year, after all the speculation that COP will drop, many schools except only the top school, either has the same COP or COP has inched up…

AMK sec for example went from 227 to 231 and St Andrews from 236 to 239, Chung Cheng High Main from 238 to 241

was told by school that appeal might have to wait till 15 Jan, possible?

or was it their nice way of saying no?

very unsettling , I am not sure if I should get the books, uniform and etc…Should I give my DS hope that his appeal still have chance or should I encourage him to settle into his posted school and risk him saying no to transfer in case his appeal is successful… its torturous waiting…
