      Hi Jas007,

My boy in 1H. Anything we can discuss here? Actually I have a lot of questions too, like the teachers' rewarding system, who to ask for my boy's topics to be tested etc... My boy seem to be very blur. He doesn't seem to understand when I ask him did the teacher told him exactly which pages of his textbooks will be tested or what does he has to revise for his test. He will say the teacher never say things like that, to the extent that I have to message the teachers but I don't like doing that too often cos the teachers might have already informed them but my boy just didn't get it. Or he din understand the importance when the teachers highlight some topics to him. It can be quite frustrating for us when we want to prepare him for his tests. I am looking forward if the P1 parents here can share more info with me... šŸ˜ž

      Thank you.
      P.s.
I have some pictures taken of the food in the canteen and the prices, let me know if any one is keen. I can email or type it out.
      Hi Happie,

I am interested. Can pm me.

      Hi mummies,
Does the teachers reward the kids very often? My boy comes back with new scissors, pencils, stationery now and then. He say some from teachers, some from his friends... maybe some bought by himself. I am not sure. How do you all control all these \"unnecessary\" spending?

      Hi Mika,

Thanks for the info. I have only been inside the compound once so far in Nov last year for their P1 orientation. On the first day of school, I tried to went in to see what is available at the canteen and a teacher stopped me and said parents are not allowed in the compound at all (except for special functions, of course). And my boy likes noodle but he kept telling me the noodle store is not opened at all. Is that so?

So far I think he only \"invested\" in Yakult, Pola snacks and milos, all the non-savoury stuff. šŸ˜›

      Hi,

I am new to this thread. My boy in P1 this year too. Sorry if my question sounds stupid. Can somebody tell me what are the food served in the canteen? My boy cannot seem to find anything that interest him and I have to pack snacks for him everyday. šŸ˜“
