Hi parents I would like to introduce Digital Divas, a free, beginner-friendly online coding initiative for young girls in Singapore. The aim of this programme is to give girls early exposure to computer science in a structured, supportive, and encouraging environment, while building confidence and problem-solving skills. Our courses are designed for absolute beginners and focus on: Introduction to basic programming concepts Logical and computational thinking Simple hands-on projects Encouraging creativity and confidence-building No prior coding experience is required. Who is this for? Girls aged 7 - 12 years old Beginners with little or no coding background Suitable for students who are curious and willing to learn Cost Completely FREE This is a volunteer initiative started out of personal interest in education and mentorship. About the Organiser I was a member of the Singapore National Rhythmic Gymnastics Squad from 2021 - 2025, representing Singapore in multiple international competitions. Alongside sports, I have a strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, and have participated in research programmes and competitions such as the Singapore Science & Engineering Fair. I also have experience in programming and tutoring, and I started Digital Divas after noticing that many girls do not receive early exposure to computer science. My aim is to create a safe, supportive space for them to explore technology and build confidence early on.
