Anyone has any comments on City Ballet Academy?

Received it in the mail yesterday. My dd is in Class P1.3.

So happy. My dd got in to MGS through the balloting this morning. :celebrate:

I would like to thank kiasuparents and all who contribute to this forum for your support. It's hard for those that are not in the same boat to understand what we as parents are going through. The reply I receive from all of you really help during this stressful time. Even by reading others' post already provide enough support to know that there are some like-minded people out there that understands. Kudos to those who start this site.

You will stand a higher chance to get into Pei Hwa if staying within 1km.
Out of the question for MGS.

why is it higher chance for Pei Hwa? Is it because of the no. of vacancy?

I can't help feeling frustrated knowing I have to go for balloting... This is going to be a long weekend. I find it ridiculous that 43 applicants living within 1km have to ballot for 38 vacancies. Excess of 5 applicants aren't that hard for the school to accommodate, don't you think?

Is the school going to call us and confirm the balloting? Or do we just pop by on wednesday? Good luck to all of us.[/quote]According to info at registration, the balloting is at 8am on Wed. Not necessary for parents to turn up but guess many will.

Have been browsing and never post previously. Seems like MGS has broken its previous record this time. P2B will see balloting for those <1km>1km have no more chance. Really scary. :shock:

My guess is more of balloting for >1km <2km>2km no chance.

Already confirm balloting for <1km. Checked MGS website. 38 place being offered and 41 applicant are within 1km.
