If i’m not wrong, there is no guarantee that you will be given priority even if your younger one managed to get into the school.


Instead if your daughter managed to transfer in before you register the second one, you will be able to register in phase 1

My year, they discouraged people outside 2km to apply for PV as you might not get a place in the end.

It depends on the supply and demand. From what i recalled, the P1 registration demand went up (probably cos the school shifted back to HG) last year, hence no sure if the criteria might change. Call the school and ask I guess.

Hi any parents here currently having their children taking the holy innocent school bus? Any idea why is it the feedback on the bus vendor (Min Yang) service is so bad year still get the bid? Their school bus fees seems to be higher than other school bus vendor.

Cos the demand for sch bus is low for HIPS. A lot are staying very near the school, just walk to school. No other vendor was interested to bid we were told.

Does any Pri 1 parents know whether the remaining Chinese textbooks are on sale at their bookshop already? Trying not to make a wasted trip down.

May I ask, which level is your gal in? The syllabus should be the same for all schools right? Just that the topics are taught in different sequence? Cos in the end, everyone is sitting for the same paper?


The school would be introducing supplementary classes for science and maths starting next year… to reinforce the concepts taught using experiments and handson stuff. Why not wait and see how it goes?
