My boy is forgetful and the reason y he is avoiding his working is mainly bcos of being lazy. He thought if he didn’t tell me , he need not do it. Bcos I notice when he completes it before me, he has no prob.

I’ve also cut this iPad time to only once a week , which is on weekend and spoken to him. Hope he listens…

Need some advice … My boy is currently in P1 . He has very short attention span. Every time when I ask him whether he has homework , he will tell me no. When I look thru his sch bag , I happen to find some work which has to be completed. When I ask him , what is to be done? He will tell me " I don’t know ." He seems to be avoiding his work, even those were to be completed during sch time. It’s his 1st week at sch … How shld I let him know that all this work has to be done ?

I’ve had a bad experience with this student care in TAMPINES St. 83 "A_______ Academy". To begin with, my child is attending pri 1 this year and his pri sch is not in Tampines . On the 1st day of sch , they have totally forgotten abt picking up my child when the sch bus came, luckily I myself was there waiting. Rather den apologizing for their mistake , the teacher in charge instructed me that I shld have given thm the bus drivers contact and they requested the driver to call before they reach. I have given them the arrival time of the bus ,they could have been there waiting. As a parent ,I will not encourage drivers to calling every parent or sch care before they reach don’t u think its rather dangerous. I felt that the student care had too much of an intake and they do not have enough teachers to help out. As my child was the only one fr that particular pri. Sch therefore its different for kids who came in a grp. If no one is to pick him up, I really think it’s very dangerous. On the third of sch , my hubby was approached by the principal and he told him that he couldnt take in my child as he’s mischievous and he didn’t want to do his homework in the afternoon . On the fourth day, the teacher in charge called me and say my son was rough with another student there. We had a talk and we found out that I wasn’t the whole truth, it was the other child who hit my child first. I mean as parent we know this things happens and it wasnt a violent issue that someone was injured. It was jus some pushing here and there. I’m utterly disappointed with this student care , they jus gave me an impression they just want to have easy to take care children.

So parents , if you child is a little mischievous like mine … U might wana re consider .
