Hi Estheric,
No experience unfortunately, at my end. Care to share why you would like to transfer the child to FMSP? I believe interviews are quite a common requirement for school transfers, unless the child has some stellar sporting achievement or something. -

Looks like we have quite a few mommies here who have kids in consecutive years!

Hi Dingdongrc and Audreymum,
My hubby will be taking my boy for the orientation first - I’ll be joining the orientation late as I have to fetch my daughter for her violin lesson.
I have a rather silly question - as I’m a working mom, I don’t have time to revisit the bookshop multiple times. Do we have to purchase all the items that were previously out of stock? They look like peripheral items to me, i.e. not textbooks etc. -

I had a very good experience personally. In fact my class, P6A of 1991 did quite well at PSLE and ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels. But as I said, I think the standards have unfortunately dropped over the years. During my time, we would have students with over 270 points for PSLE each year, and quite a few of them. These seem to have disappeared in recent years. So yes, I would welcome feedback from parents with kids currently in FMSP as my time was way tooooo long ago for relevance.

No idea really; as I have shared, a close colleague did not have positive experience so I am very encouraged to hear of good experiences with FMSP in this forum
