hi ,
Anyone able to help me with the correct method of solving:
Richard and Andrew had the same amount of money each.
When Richard spent $147, Andrew had 4 times as much money as what Richard had left.
How much did Richard have at first?
Thanks so much in advance .

RE: St Margaret's Primary
Hi Jacsplace
No need to worry…after a while , she will manage .
I have misplaced the letter…checked my email to her FT was dated 16 Jan….so lessons starting around 3rd week of January. Yes, it is compulsory. Unless medical or you can get a letter from her current swimming coach to indicate the level of competency e.g able to swim 50m.
Almost 90% of her class have joined the swimming. After class ended, go for their lunch at the canteen… then change into swimming attire and wait for the swim bus. Back to school, snack at the sch canteen and wait for CCA bus at 4.30pm. Should be the Ang Peng Siong one as letter didn’t mention his name. Anyway, Farrer Park aquatic centre is owned by APS.
Harmonica/recorder lessons are part of music lessons…if no music background then start with theory.
Yes, Maths for P2 is the green My Pals Are Here - workbooks, textbooks and Maths Tests. and also SMPS own Maths book. -

doraemo, my daughter will be in p2 next year. What time are the swimming lessons and what time do they start. Besides swimsuit, does she need anything else? Are goggles and capt compulsory?
hi jacsplace
Early January next year, the FT will pass the swimming letter to the class. The Learn-to-Swim Programme is at Farrer Park Aquatic Centre, starting around 2.15pm and back to school by 4.15pm.
Prepare a big bag which able to hold swim board, sun lotion, comb, swimsuit, goggles, cap, towel, t-shirt&short, extra cash for lunch & snack. The Learn-to-Swim Programme for P2 will end in October before exam. Not sure whether it will cotinue to P3.
And also in P2, girls with music background will learn to play harmonica and those without any music based, start with theory lessons and learn to play recorder later.
Do let me know if you need to know anything about P2. My younger girl going to P1 next year. -
Can I check with those mummies whose child is taking school bus, normally what time does the school bus picks the child up and what time will your daughters reach home? Kindly advise. Thanks!
I am staying quite far away from the primary school and wonder whether is it advisable to move house due to distance issue. Thanks!
Hi happy me
I stay in Bukit Batok and the bus picked my girl around 6.30am. Drop off is around 2.30pm@student care near home.
thanks for the reply. i feel at ease with all your affirmation that it is not too tiring for the child to travel. can i know if there are cca starting in pri3, what time will the school bus be able to send them back home?
cheers,
happyme
hi happyme
dd is p2 this year..so no cca., but she stayed behind for swimming lessons etc. Took the cca bus @4.30pm and home around 5.15pm. Not to worry, your dd will not feel bored , there are friends in the bus she will get to know. Usually I will prepare some snack for her to munch and shared with her friends in bus. -
